What counts as an AI run?
An AI run is counted whenever you submit an Excel or CSV sheet to be processed or transformed by our Google Gemini engine. This includes automated header detection, AI cleaning, AI Assistant transformation prompts, fuzzy duplicate removal, geo-enrichment, pattern extraction, and whole-workbook AI insights. Everyday table operations such as sorting, column filtering by values or conditions, combining multiple sheets and files into new tabs, editing cells, renaming headers, and exact deduplication are completely free and use zero AI runs.
Do I have to subscribe, or can I pay for just one day?
You can pay for one day. The Day Pass is a one-time $2.99 purchase that unlocks every Mid feature for 24 hours, including 5,000 rows per sheet, multi-sheet workbook tools, and unlimited AI runs. It is not a subscription: it does not renew, there is nothing to cancel, and you will not be charged again. It is the right choice if you have one messy file to fix rather than an ongoing need.
Can I cancel or change my plan at any time?
Yes. All subscriptions are handled securely through PayPro Global, our trusted global merchant. You can cancel your subscription, upgrade, or downgrade your tier directly from your billing portal under "Manage Subscription" at any time. There are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees. The Day Pass is the exception, and only because there is nothing to cancel: it is a one-time purchase that ends by itself after 24 hours.
Is there a limit on file size or row counts?
The Free plan serves as a complete browser Excel alternative with a 500-row view window per sheet: files of any size can be opened to preview, clean, filter, edit, combine, and export the first 500 rows of each sheet with no signup and no credit card required. The Mid (Prosumer) plan increases this limit to 5,000 rows per sheet with full multi-sheet workbook capabilities, while the Pro (Enterprise) plan offers unlimited rows with zero caps for large datasets and enterprise workflows.
Does DataSort support multi-sheet Excel workbooks?
Yes. DataSort automatically imports all sheets into an interactive tab strip. You can view each sheet, rename tabs, reorder them, duplicate sheets, combine sheets and files into new tabs for free, clean individual tabs, run Clean All Sheets across the workbook in sequence with AI, and export the entire workbook back to multi-tab Excel, multi-table SQL, or structured JSON.
Can I filter and sort data without spending AI runs?
Yes. Filtering by conditions such as numeric thresholds, date spans, or text patterns, filtering by unique value checklists, column sorting, column renaming, cell editing, and row reordering all run entirely in your browser and consume zero AI runs.
Why does the Mid tier have 1 concurrent job?
To ensure high availability and fair speed for all users, the Mid tier processes one spreadsheet operation at a time. The Pro tier upgrades this to 5 concurrent jobs, meaning you can run cleaning or enrichment tasks across multiple sheets or browser tabs simultaneously without waiting.
How does the 20-minute rate limit work on the Free plan?
On the Free plan, you receive 5 AI runs and 5 data manipulation actions. Once these are consumed, the limits reset automatically exactly 20 minutes from your first run. Upgrade to Mid or Pro to enjoy completely unlimited runs and bypass all time-based restrictions.

Are saved sessions a paid feature?
Partly. Every plan including Free saves your current work automatically in your browser. Mid and Pro add named sessions, up to 10, so you can keep several workbooks side by side and switch between them. All of it is stored locally in your browser and never uploaded.
